A full accounting team at offshore rates

Our accounting team is led by a Director of Accounting and Finance with CA-level expertise who oversees QA review. We do not prepare tax returns; your CPA keeps that work. Opteamus LLC is a US company based in Torrance, California. Our team works from Dhaka, Bangladesh, during US business hours, which is how we keep offshore rates. Accounting firms can use the same team under their own brand through white label accounting.

Common questions

What is the difference between outsourced accounting and outsourced bookkeeping?
Bookkeeping records transactions and reconciles accounts. Outsourced accounting adds the processes around the books: paying bills, collecting invoices, running payroll, closing the month on a calendar and producing statements someone has reviewed. If you only need the books kept, our bookkeeping services for small business page is the better fit.
How much do outsourced accounting services cost?
Opteamus charges $15 to $25 an hour, depending on the skill the work needs. A small business that hands over bookkeeping, payables, receivables and payroll usually needs about 40 to 80 hours a month, which is about $600 to $2,000. A full-time dedicated accountant is about $2,400 to $4,000 a month at 160 hours. Monthly retainer packages are available on request. These are estimates; your rate is confirmed after we see your accounts.
Do you replace my CPA?
No. We prepare the year-end package your CPA needs, including a reconciled trial balance and the schedules behind it, and your CPA prepares the return and gives tax advice. We do not prepare tax returns.
Who approves payments?
You do. We prepare the payment run with bills coded and supporting documents attached. Nothing is paid until you approve it in your bill-pay or banking system.
Which software do you work in?
Yours. QuickBooks Online and Desktop, Xero, Bill.com, Gusto and the other common small business tools. You keep ownership and admin access; we work inside your accounts.
Can you take over if my books are behind?
Yes. The backlog is entered and reconciled first as a catch-up project, then the monthly rhythm starts. See catch-up bookkeeping for how that works.
How do you protect my data?
Access is granted through a password manager, never shared in chat or email, and is limited to the systems the work needs. Our team works on monitored machines during US business hours, and you can revoke access at any time.
What hours do you work?
US business hours. Our team is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and works on US time, so you can reach your accountant live during your working day.

We reply the same business day.
